If your impeller is 30 thousands of an inch too small for its housing, you could be losing as much as 60% of your efficiency in running, depending on your boat size and load. RVN Steel has developed a specialized set of measuring rings which enable us to rebuild your impeller and custom fit it to your boat to within .005 of an inch.

Once your impeller is in the hands of our "impeller doctor", the diameter is first built up using an advanced thermal spray weld, which we have adapted and refined to an art (working closely in conjunction with thermal spray engineers).

• The impeller is then precision lathed (cut down) to the exact dimensions of your jet pump.
  
• Finally the impeller is polished to a smooth hydrodynamic efficient finish and balanced.
